Orientation Session

yesterday, the ISSS office set up a session for the new graduate steudents enrolled at UWM. The meeting was between 1:00 pm to 4:00 on the corner of lake drive and hartford ave. we (me an my wife arrived at 12:40. The place which meeting was established was on the western side of Lake drive ave. on the opposite side was the jewish school. we saw students wearing hat with edge.

We arrived at 12:45. when we entered to Hefter hall- place which meeting held there- a man appeared and asked us "are you from Iran!" I don't know how he found out our nationality. we checked in and attach a sticker including our name on clothes.

we began with eating Pizza. there were four kinds of Pizza-mushroom, vegetable and etc- near 70 graduate students were in session. at 1:15 one of the ISSS's officers started her speech. we were given some pages including in them the slides showed at officer presentation. she explained about various subjects in slides and we could see the slides in our pamphlet. most of the students were from china! and most of them had TA!

at the end of meeting they had a lottery and among 72 students they gave to 6 persons 6 T shirts. Unlike ever, I was one of the winner. I was such surprised that I couldn't understand winner and my wife noticed me. I felt that this award is propitious for me.

Differneces and Responsibilities

Some days ago, I thought about differences between peopleant and this phrase which god says at holy Quran "Allah doesn't oblige anyone more than his/her capacity". It means each person having his own character and ability he has special duties different with other people and god expects according to his ability. In extreme example, consider differences betwenn animals and human. What can you expect an animal? do you expect rational behavior in its treatments. Absolutely No!
Now, compare two persons who have varied talents and have had unlike family. Can you expect them same duties. Like the above example, Absolutely No!
By considering this concept, hereafter expect anyone according to his situation.

Bay Shore

Today ago at afternoon we (me and my wife) decided to go bay shore which is one of the malls in milwaukee. when we step down the steps we found it rained so drastic. we were hesitate whether we go out or not. Because we were exhausted and gloomy we select the first option.
We didn't have any umbrella or equipment protecting us so we took two plastic bags.
We walked by Okland Ave and then we boarded on bus -line 15-. after nearly 20 minutes we received. The Bay shore is a street having many stores. We were around 2 hours there and we could see two or three stores superficially. I think we would not have seen all stores had we had on day time. The stores were such as Dubai Malls. Somethings like as make up devices were lower than Iran and dubai but Shoes were more expensive.
In back way it rained more severe than last. I saw out from the bus. Streets was dark and depressing and I imagined the winter when it would snowed. It will be more dim than now.
At that time I felt bad sense and I wished I were at Iran loving it.
